Rates & Services
I perform
wedding ceremonies primarily within the greater Grass Valley/Nevada City area, including the following cities and communities:
Penn Valley, Rough & Ready, Lake Wildwood, Alta Sierra, Lake of the Pines, Cedar Ridge, Peardale, Chicago Park, and Colfax.
The following rates apply to weddings in these areas. For other areas, please see below.
Wedding Ceremony - $200 Pricing includes:
- Travel to weddings within 25 miles of Nevada City
- One
in-person meeting in Grass Valley or Nevada City(optional, not required)
- Phone
and e-mail consultation as needed
- Officiating your wedding ceremony
- Keepsake copy of wedding ceremony
- Filing of
marriage license
Rehearsals - $75 While
rehearsals are not included in my basic rate, I can attend (or conduct)
your wedding rehearsal, which would entail coordinating with bride, groom, members
of the wedding party, and any musicians or DJs. If you have a wedding planner or coordinator, you may not need me to
attend the rehearsal, as I am quite familiar with the choreography of weddings. In that case, I would be happy to discuss
any details with your planner, as necessary. Outside my immediate service area: My fee for weddings
in the areas of Auburn, Weimar, Meadow Vista, and Newcastle is $250, and includes all the same services
as listed above. Rehearsals in these areas are an additional $100. For areas beyond, including Sacramento, please call or email me.
Payment Options
To
reserve a date for your wedding or vow renewal, I require a deposit of $100, which is refundable up until 30 days prior
to the reserved date.
*Checks: I accept
personal checks. Please make payable to Shawn Flynn or Sierra Wedding Ceremonies and mail to P.O. Box 2594, Grass
Valley, CA 95945. I regret that I cannot accept checks within 10 days of a wedding. Balance of charges must be
paid by wedding date, and if you plan to pay balance on your wedding date, payment must be in cash. *Credit Cards:
